The challenge
Identity infrastructure too complex and costlyto build in-house for most organisations
Building secure, compliant identity and authentication infrastructure requires deep expertise in cryptography, PKI, and government-grade security - capabilities most organisations lack and cannot afford to build independently. Yet banks, government agencies, and corporates all face mounting pressure to implement strong authentication, context-aware access control, and KYC/AML compliance. The gap between what organisations need and what they can build was the opportunity IDXaaS was designed to close.
The solution
IDXaaS — the full Digital Identity Platform delivered as a service
IDXaaS is the SaaS delivery layer of E-Group's Digital Identity Platform, developed with EU funding through the VEKOP programme in partnership with the University of Pécs. Completed in November 2020, it provides modular identity and authentication infrastructure through standard API interfaces, enabling organisations to implement enterprise-grade identity management without building their own stack. The platform features context-based authentication - adapting security requirements based on user behaviour, location, device, and transaction risk - and supports multi-tenant deployment for administrative, banking, and corporate clients. It integrates the IDX Group (e-ID reading, biometrics, ID federation, SSO), the SDX signature module including post-quantum security algorithms, and the IOX/SPG workflow engine.
The result
National-scale identity expertise made accessible to the enterprise market
IDXaaS packages the same identity infrastructure that powers KAÜ and Hungary's national digital services into a subscription-deployable platform for the enterprise market. Organisations across banking, administration, and corporate sectors can now implement authentication, KYC, and e-signature capability that previously required a national-scale development programme. The platform is live in production and continues to serve multiple sectors.
