The challenge

Personal data has enormous value - but only when the person it belongs to has agreed to share it

Organisations hold data about people that other organisations would pay to access. People hold data about themselves that could unlock better insurance rates, personalised medicine, and smarter financial products. But the regulatory environment - GDPR, PSD2, the Data Governance Act - makes data sharing without explicit, auditable consent legally and commercially perilous. The market needed an infrastructure layer that could enable data transactions between individuals, data holders, and data buyers, with consent as the fundamental mechanism and end-to-end encryption as the security guarantee.

The solution

reData.me - three-party consent marketplace with E2E encryption and regulatory compliance

E-Group built and operates reData.me - a consent-based personal data sharing and monetisation platform connecting Data Subjects (individuals), Data Users (companies wanting data), and Data Holders (companies holding data). Data Subjects manage their consents and decide exactly what is shared and with whom. Data Users access validated, consented data through a single integration. Data Holders monetise their assets through one platform connection. All data is end-to-end encrypted in transit - reData.me itself cannot read the data being transferred; only the approved recipient can decrypt it. The platform monitors and complies with GDPR, PSD2, eIDAS, the Data Governance Act, and the Digital Markets Act. Deployed case studies include an insurance company automating claim disbursement and multi-party contract signing using identification and medical record data, and a telecom provider exchanging special offers for banking history data via the platform.

The result

Responsible data reuse in production - with real insurance and telecom deployments

reData.me is live at redata.me, with deployed use cases across insurance and telecommunications. The pay-as-you-go, integrate-once model creates an organically growing network for secure, consented data sharing. The platform is built on the same identity and trust foundations as KAÜ, IDXaaS, and the MyD Wallet - making it the commercial application of E-Group's trust infrastructure in the personal data economy.
